While the Greek God Ode pairs poetry with music, this hand-tuned
chime artistically couples ten hollow chimes with four smaller, solid
chimes to elicit spectacular harmonies.
The hardwood components, all of which are hexagonal, have a
durable, black all-weather finish. The ten hollow chimes are of a silver
alloy, the 4 solid chimes are black. A square metal striker is located
on the central cord between the solid chimes.
Threaded on rot-proof nylon line which can easily be removed from
the top and re-attached to facilitate hanging the chime, plastic
grommets are set into the holes in each chime through which the line is
threaded to prevent chafing.
